What is Garden 2 Table? It's all about empowering folks to grow their own food right in the heart of our city. We're talking about container gardening that fits into small spaces, and vertical gardening for our urban environments. It's amazing what you can grow even when space is limited! But it's not just about the plants. It's about personal growth too. Now, here's where you come in. We need a little help to make this garden dream a reality. Things like potting mix, wood for raised beds, screws, and cable ties - they may seem small, but they're the building blocks of our garden. Your donation will go directly to creating something truly special. It's not just about the plants; it's about building a stronger, healthier community. And trust me, when you see the smiles on the faces of those who harvest their first tomato or pluck a fresh herb for their dinner, you'll know your support made it happen. Clothing and food bank, and Kitchen
Here at the R.I.S.E. Center we offer clothing, and food for those in need. The clothing and food banks will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 11am to 3pm.
The food bank offers food boxes and delivery for those in need.
We also have warm meals for breakfast lunch and dinner.
come by at 7:30 am 12:00 pm and 04:30 for meals. Now serving lunches Saturdays, the first Saturday of the month will serve from noon-3pm all other Saturdays will be 1pm-3pm for lunches.
Overview of Services
At the R.I.S.E. Center, all of the support services we offer to the community flow through three programs:
LIFE
Working with partners and allies, we help community members stabilize and connect with resources that support their most immediate needs.
LITERACY
Our literacy program is focused on unlocking the learner in each community member, then equipping them with the tools to develop literacy in every area of their lives.
LEADERSHIP
The courses, classes, and workshops that fall under the Leadership program open doors to opportunity and cash flow. We help build relationships, connect to mentors, and more.
